This is a part of a series of work that is inspired by childhood memories, teenage experiences and dealing with the nativity of youth and it's conflicts with the harsh reality of life. Utilizing the uncanny, I use sweets and toys as a motif to attempt to portray the fake nostalgia of longing for happier times.
