Taking away from the terrible pun, this works looks at the hidden children that get lost to child abuse. On Raggy Ann apron is statistics from 2022 from the NSPCC of cases of child Abuse. Compared to previous years you can see an incline of these cases, and it appears to only be more on the rise. The use of the Raggy Ann Doll resembles how like childhood toys, children are hidden within plane sight, tucked away and nothing is done about this. Just forgotten about.
